Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Makedigitalindia ("we", "us") collects when you visit makedigitalindia.com or use the apps we build and run for your business, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• When you contact us: your name, phone number, email and anything you tell us about your business, so we can reply and prepare a quote or demo.
• When your team uses our apps: login details (email and an encrypted password), each person's name and role, and what they do in the app, such as stock scanned, sales recorded and orders created, with the time and the person who did it.
• Your business data: products, stock, sales, purchases, vendors, cases, staff records and similar information you or your staff enter.
• Technical data: basic information your browser sends, such as device type and IP address, which our hosting providers use to keep the service running and secure.

How we use it

• To run the app for your business and show your team the right data.
• To give support, fix problems and improve the apps we build for you.
• To reply to your enquiries and send you information you asked for.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your business data for advertising.

Your business data belongs to you

Everything you enter into your app is yours. We access it only to run, support and maintain the service for you. Each business's data is kept separate, and only logins you or your administrator create can see it. You can ask for an export of your data at any time.

Where it is stored

Data is stored with Google Firebase (Google Cloud), and the website is served through Cloudflare. These providers may process data on servers inside or outside India, under their own security and privacy commitments.

How long we keep it

We keep your business data while your account is active. If you stop using the service, we will export it for you on request and delete it within 90 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Enquiry messages are kept for as long as they are useful for following up with you.

Security

Access to each business's data is controlled by login and role, connections are encrypted, and passwords are never stored in readable form. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep passwords private and tell us at once if you think a login has been misused.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct, export or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent you have given. Write to sanjaygautam779@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For important changes, we will tell our clients directly.
